Learn How to Make Money with Photography by Selling Photos

Shooting a wedding in New Zealand is one thing that every photographer aspires to. It should come as no surprise that art directors and production teams spend a huge quantity of time studying areas for shoots, no matter whether for fashion or product photography. The area and lighting is just as crucial as the subject matter itself, which is why they on a regular basis fly to exotic locations. Remember the Bounty ad from the 80s? That was shot on a gorgeous beach on the West Coast of Africa amid palm trees and best white sand . It wouldn’t have looked similar on the pier in Brighton

So it’s no surprise that capturing a wedding amongst the stunning countryside of New Zealand is one thing that each and every professional photographer would be very thrilled about. There’s countless mountains, lakes, vineyards and white sand beaches to select from, plus the climate is very conducive to a ideal outdoor wedding.

New Zealanders are very much outdoor people that a lot of weddings take place on the beach or up in the hills. While this could pose difficulties for a photographer , particularly if the wedding service takes place in full sun , it also presents some wonderful opportunities to develop unique photos. It’s the ideal opportunity to mix landscape photography with classic wedding photography. Find a stunning area, mix in fantastic lighting; Ultimately add the wedding party and it’s a winning formula!

Marffels Beach, in Marlborough’s spectacular Awatere Valley delivers one to the most breathtaking backdrops for a wedding imaginable. It’s an unpretentious white sand beach looking out onto the Pacific located at the end of a lengthy and winding track. It’s certainly stunning and totally secluded. The only folk around are a few dolphins and seals off the coast and the aquatic birds that populate the beach .

If the South Island doesn’t fulfill then surely the North Island will. The Auckland region offers the best of both worlds. Some funky downtown architecture as well as great non-urban locations makes it a favorite among New Zealanders. And of course there’s always the possibility of bungeing off the Auckland Tower with your loved one !

One of the most intimate wedding locations, found a little further north in the stunning Bay of Islands, is the picture postcard village of Russell. It’s a wedding photographer’s dream, mixing beautiful coastal scenery with old world colonial charm.

It may be a long way away, but there can’t be a greater place to photograph a wedding than New Zealand. Once the wedding photography has finished the wedding photographers can then indulge in some of   stunning landscape photography available on the planet .  It only we could all be a Auckland Wedding Photographer at lease once! Enjoy!
