Learn How to Make Money with Photography by Selling Photos

In case you haven’t noticed we are in a recession and the housing market is quite depressed, so it isn’t a great time to be selling your home. But many people are in the position of needing to sell in order to downsize or raise capital. So, how quickly you can pull off the feat of selling will depend on many factors.

You Wish!

One such factor is how good you can make your home look in the photographs in the realtors window. Larry Lohrman, author of several “Learn Real Estate Photography” ebooks has given his top five photography tips.

1/ Choose the Exterior shot of the House More Carefully

Additionally, on most website you get photographs in blocks of four. So you need to clearly identify your four strongest shots and shoot in landscape view where possible.

2/ What is the Strongest Point About the House?

Do you have a great patio or deck? Photograph that.

3/ Shoot the Shots at Half an Hour Before or After Sunset

Light conditions matter. The shot will look better. Around twilight is another good time.

4/ Make Sure Your photographs Are Straight

Otherwise the house will look like it is on a hill!

5/ The price is still the most important factor

You can photograph a donkey beautifully. But that doesn’t make it an Arabian Stallion.

Good Luck with the sale.
